Tijuana Flats

Tijuana Flats, a Tex-Mex restaurant chain, recently received a revamp of its Webby Award-winning website. The 72-unit, fast-casual restaurant’s site received a full creative and developmental overhaul, including a major conversion from Flash to HTML, allowing it to function properly on most digital platforms, such as Smartphones and iPads.

Aside from the new functionality, the most striking element about the site is the vibrant background art. This background illustration is familiar to anyone who’s set foot into a Tijuana Flats location, as each restaurant has a graffiti-like mural that is unique in design and concept.

The site was designed and developed by Orlando-based agency Push and illustrated by former Spider-Man comic book artist Alex Saviuk.
